Matthew 1:23-- The virgin will be with child and will give birth to a son, and they will call Him Immanuel"-- which means, "God with us" (Isaiah 7:14 prophecy fulfilled). John 1:29 -- The next day John saw Jesus coming toward him and said, "Look, the Lamb of God, who takes away the sin of the world! I John 1:7 -- But if we walk in the light, as He is in the light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus, His Son, purifies us from all sin. John 3:16 -- For God so loved the world that He gave His one and only Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish but have eternal life.
How to accept Him as your Lord and Savior
for eternal life:
Lord Jesus, I invite you into my heart today, and I ask you to forgiven me of all of my sins. Lord Jesus, thank you for dying for me and your shed blood on the cross that washes my sins away. Please give me a hunger and thirst for your righteousness. I need your help Lord God, in living this new life in Christ. Please send your Holy Spirit afresh into my life to help me, heal me, lead me and transform me. In the name of Jesus Christ I pray, Amen!

The Late ~ Apostle/ Sr. Pastor/ Sr. Chaplain Walter L. Poston
He is at Rest Since 2/25/2022 ~ "Waiting on the Trumpet to Rise" ~ 1 Corth. 15:51-54
Walter completed biblical studies and ministry training while serving in the U.S. Armed Forces with the 564th Military Police Company in Butzbach, Germany. After returning to the United States, he continued training in outreach, street witnessing, and preaching ministry.
He was ordained as a minister and later elevated to Pastor through Abounding Life Church of God in Christ (COGIC) in Posen, Illinois, before becoming Founder and Senior Pastor of House of Refuge COGIC.
In May 2008, he and his wife Pamela became leaders of Highways & Hedges Outreach Ministries, a 501(c)(3) outreach church serving communities nationwide according to Luke 14:23. He was elevated to Overseer in 2011 and consecrated as an Apostle in August 2019. That same year, he received the 2019 Community Leadership Award for “Church Leader” from Community Connect Inc. of Las Vegas, Nevada.
Overseer Pamela R. Poston, Pastor & Sr. Chaplain
Pamela has faithfully served alongside local churches in Illinois, Ohio and Nevada through various outreach ministries and leadership roles, including Ladies Ministries, Church Planning Committee, Nurses Board, Hospitality Committee, the City of Chicago Street Evangelism Team, Church Evangelistic Outreach Teams, Prison Ministries, and facilitator for conferences & retreats.
She completed biblical studies through various Christian training institutes throughout Chicago, Illinois, and was licensed and ordained as an Evangelist in 2006. In August 2011, she was licensed and ordained as a Pastor, later elevated to Overseer, and awarded an honorary Doctorate of Advocacy from the Christian Counselling Institute of Chicago.
She is a four-time author. Her first self-published book, Answers to Relational Healing 101: Including Testimony and Teachings - How Pain Can Become Your Purpose, addresses 78 impactful topics focused on relational healing through questions, answers, testimony, and biblical teaching. She became an Amazon Best Seller in January 2024 through co-authoring Grace Is: Compelling Parables from Las Vegas Chaplains, a powerful compilation showcasing stories of God’s grace revealed through the lives and experiences of diverse and creative authors.
She remains firmly persuaded that, “Whom the Son sets free is free indeed.”
Both Poston(s) are Chicago, IL natives
They relocated to Las Vegas, NV thru “Blind Faith” in October 2009...
They became ordained Chaplains through Messages of Faith Ministries dba Chaplaincy Nevada and later was promoted to Senior Chaplains. They serve with the Adopt-A-Cop Nevada as well. They are co-authors of the Faith Is: Inspiring Stories from Las Vegas Chaplains and Love Is: Testimonies from Las Vegas Chaplains books.
Apostle & Pastor Poston ordination credentials are held through Labourers For Christ - Apostolic Ecumenical Network of Kingdom Churches in Chicago, IL. Their leadership credentials are through LFC - Christian Counseling Training Institute in Leadership Training and Reformation Ministries - School of the Prophets in Impartation and Activation. They are trained and certified County, Federal and State volunteers, mentors and ministry leaders in both adult and youth correctional facilities. Through Prison Fellowship® Ministries, both became Church Training Instructors. They are Pastoral Care Leaders for the Las Vegas Spartans for Christ Churches.
This power couple love ministering and working in the community together. Collectively, they have over 30 years of Social and Human Services experience in Case Management, Client Services, Employment Training, Youth Services, Homeless Prevention Services, and Recidivism Reduction Support, just to name a few.
Their marriage speaks volumes of a reflection of Christ and His church. They have ministered to countless couples for years & seen the Lord restore many broken hearts.
